I was thinking about creating a blog for quite some time but I didn’t take the initiative until now. So many doubts: are people going to read it? are they going to like it? but the truth was that I wanted to have an outlet for my creativity; to express my points of view and to share my experiences in life including fashion and travel.

That was the main purpose of creating a blog and finally, that fear of rejection went away and my first post was up. That morning was mystical and my mind was navigating through multiple kinds of thoughts- what if… I picked a bold choice to wear for the first pictures, a strapless midi dress by H&M  (similarTop by Zara, Shoes (similar) by BCBG and Necklace by me.

When you feel more vulnerable, is when you develop your strength and a light comes to lighten the dark. New York, one of the most amazing and exciting cities in the world was attacked. Thirteen years later, New York feels stronger than ever, the arts, the people, the communities, all together embellish the dignity of a once raped city. I decided to visit the Empty Sky 9/11 Memorial in Jersey City, NJ honoring the 749 people that lived in or had ties to New Jersey that lost their lives at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Don’t get discouraged and learn from your failures because you will find a light in the dark.
